rts Pe ‘au RR a aa ES toa 3 This year, TNSA has focused on strengthen- ing its organization by seeking to involve more Nursing students. Five committees were established which enabled more social activities, programs, and state level corre- spondence. Due to increased membership, for the first year in its history, TNSA was allowed two delegates to the state convention held March 8—12. These delegates were Janet Barnes and Robert Waybright. Poster Sales, numerous guest speakers, blood drive, a thank you breakfast for faculty, a big sister little sister week and an End of the Year Fling for Seniors are some of the many activities sponsored by TNSA. Our thanks from TNSA to all who cooper- ated with enthusiasm in making 77-78 a suc- cessful year. TNSA PICTURED ABOVE: Bottom Row, Left to Right — Gloria Vanderbeck. Connie Blaylock, Bonnie Riney. This unique system of instructing and commission- ing the bulk of our officers on college campuses has produced a vital national defense and civilian enter- prise. The ROTC program is typically American. It is an expression of our historic concepts of the citi- zen soldier and civilian control over our Military forces.
