MMNMSMMMMSKMMSMMMMMMMQSZSQMBQMSQ Calendar 26-Daleville defeated Mark- leville 24-22. Last day of this week. That's what we're thank- ful for. 27-Thanksgiving - 'nuff said. December 1 - Pictures were received from Indiana Univer- sity. 2-High School was enter- tained by two Hawaiians. 3-Library staff enjoyed a waffle supper with Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Fuller. 5 - Daleville and Harrison. Fast playing seemed to be all the game even though we did have to forfeit it. 8-One more week until ex- aminations. 11-Senior Class Meeting. 12 Daleville was defeated by Center. 15 - Beginning of the end. First semester. 16 - Another Senior Class Meeting. 17-Examination Day ! ! ! ! 18-Still more exams. Thank Heaven they last only until noon. 19--Senior-Freshman Debate. Suppose everyone will be moving to city now. Exchange of pre- sents and a whole weeks vaca- tion. 22-Senior Christmas Party at Vita Orebaugh's. Q 24 - Christmas Eve. Every creature was stirring even the mice. 29-Back again for another four month's mental test. 30-Beginning of a new and harder e ra in bookkeeping. Everything is not gold that glitters certainly does apply to bookkeeping. 31-The president of the Sen- ior Class shoves Fords around through Daleville so Maryalice can drive out of her parking place. At last something to keep Mark busy. January 1-What expressions one does see when the cards come out. 2-Daleville vs. Yorktown. We were defeated bya score of 29-21. The tourney will show our make- up. 7 -- Senior Class Meeting. Campaign of annual sales boost- ed. Wesley Highmiller wins Le Grand Prix for heroic Work in knocking down underclass-men, and nailing their subscriptions. 8--J. N. O. Club Meeting at Margaret Findlings. 9-Daleville met Royerton there and did we beat them. 'Z ! 27-15. Not half bad. That's what we're going to do in the tourney too. 12-Just three months from today and we Seniors will be end- ing our high school days. 13-Everett Rinker suggests having a beauty contest. . SEMQHEMMMMAKMHQSKMLKMLKMHQMMSKMMM Calendar August 29-The glorious day. Our parent's efforts to keep us home from school are futile. We come joyfully and sign up for school. September 2-At Mr. Osborn's command Put your gum in the waste paper basket Robert - Robert Tyler, Robert Schlegel, Robert Donnelly, Robert Simes, Robert Munden and Robert Pit- tinger marched toward the bas- ket. 3-Bookkeeping seems rather deep but-we're equal to the oc- casion. 4-Mr. Heath gave we Seniors a quiz. He said he wondered if we still knew anything. 5-The Senior typing class feel as though we have increased wondrously over our last years record in both speed and errors. 6-Mr. Barkdull made the re- mark that the Seniors were too dignified to pick paper off the floor. 10-School has begun. Sea- sons reverseg campus suddenly gets green in the fall. 11-Everyone agrees that this is the first day of rest, after be- coming acquainted with our new teachers. 12-Cowan's baseball squad came here. We took them into camp with a score of 8-7. 15-Senior Class elected offi- cers. Nobody hurt. 16-First Parent - Teacher's Meeting. 17-First Basketball practice. 18-Mr. Heath seemed rather regusted because half of the sen- iors were absent from Civics class. 19- Baseball game. Dale- ville vs. Harrison. We were de- feated by a score of 11-2 but we still maintain we can beat them. 22-We Seniors received our rings. Gosh but we're proud. 23-Senior Class Meeting. 24-Mr. Osborn gave a true and false test in Bible Class. Wonder if he's a disbeliever? 25-Freshman Day. Seniors had POW-WOW, and Sunrise breakfast. The Freshmen Init- iation. The Freshmen all agree that they are full fledged high school students. 29-Senior bookkeepers had a test. Everyone is wondering what grade it will be an A or P. 30-Sophomore Class Meet- ing. October 1- Senior Class Meet- ing. 2-The pianos were tuned. They sound like saxaphones now. 3- All that goes up must come down says Mr. Davis as he leans back in his chair and loses his balance. 8-Downhearted ! ! ! ! Why ? ?? O. Club met with Charline Coffman and celebrat- ed because of the Bearcats championship. 27-Dramatic Contest. April 1--The teachers of D. H. S. have decided that the students are possessed with all available knowledge and have dismissed school until next fall. April fool! 2-Examinations I ! I l ! l 3-They didn't find out all we know yesterday so they're trying today. 8-Senior Class Play, An Ar- izona Cowboy. 9 -- We Seniors just love to wear our caps and gowns. They make such a difference in your social standing and sitting. 12-Baccalaureate Sermon. 13-Last of the Seniors. Com- mencement Exercises. Mr. Win- ger spoke on Unlisted Assets. 14-Our heads feel so funny.
