MMHMMMHQMMMMAQMMMMMBAHQMMMM X532 Seniors Many, Many moons ago at the Falling of the leaves we. papooses gath- ered from the direction of the four winds of the earth to journey through the wilderness of D. H. S. We selected as our guide, a trusty scout Miss Gill, who led us through as we blazed the trees of Algebra, English, Biology, and Vocational Education. During our second and third years we kept our trusty scout, a sure enough pathfinder, who encouraged us to march safely through the denser forests, headed by the chiefs of the departments of learning. At the last gathering of the nuts when the September moon rose on high, we gathered for our most noteworthy attempt to stem the tide of learning. We gathered around the council fire presided over by the High Sagamore, Chief Osborn. We held a gathering and chose the following leaders: President H , , , Marcus Clevenger-Chief-I-Bossem Vice-President ., , ., Sharon Rozelle--Chief I-Wood-Bossem Secretary-Treasurer . Mary Swingley, -M-E-Keepum Sponsor.. .. ........ V .. .,... .. ...,.. - .... -.G. B. Halsey-Chief-U-Tellem We chose our colors, Green and White, later we decided it should have been Black and Blue, because we took so many jolts and knocks, but came Ollt unhurt, because we are a tribe that does not bruise easily. At each beat of the Tom-Tom we donned our war paint and gathered to take our part in the fracas, and always came out with flying colors. Heap Big doin's were held at the new moon in April.
