' E T . :lit Honor Roll .7 u The Freshman enrollment at the beginning of the school year 1950 saw seventy-two green Freshman trying to get acquainted with the school and with each other. With the aid of their sponsors Miss McDaniel, Mr. Livengood and Mr. Pegler they elected the following officers: President --Fred Crews, Vice-President--Patsy Harper, Secretary-- Ralph Michel, Treasurer--Nellie Elliott, and Reporters-- Bethel Crews and Pear Ann Ferguson, The Student Council members elected were Bethel Crews and Pearl Ann Ferguson. Their festival queen candidate was Nellie Elliott, They chose as their Freshmen cheerleaders Patsy Harper and Nellie Elliott. ' They had two class parties, one at Lincoln State Park and the other one on the school ground. School closed. Many found summer jobs, while others rested their wits for thecoming year, some moved or changed schools, and other finding jobs did not return at all.
