Upon arrival the guests entered'Mother Goose Land,' which was land decorated with dogwood blossoms, Mother Goose characters and ceiling of balloons. Warren Stephens, Norma Handschiegl, Brownie Winkler, and Clyde Polster were chosen by their lassmates for nWHO'S WHO IN DALE HIGH SCHOOL Nomination is based upon the student's scholarship, his activities, his general citizenship, add pronlse of future usefulness The underlying purpose of this honor is to aid in recognizing and developing them for their future efforts, by lending itslef as a goal to which younger students will aspire, thereby promoting greater effort and self development Miss Winkler, was also selected the Good Citizen of Dale high School by the senior class and the faculty Upon receiving this honor Brownie took a test on current affairs This test was graded with those from the other chools in Spencer Pounty her paper was chosen as the best ir the county lt was then sent to Indiarapolis to be judged with other county winners lhis award is given for Dependability, Service, Leadership, and Patriotism Brownie was awarded a silver pin, for winning the local and county Good Citizenship Award, which is sponsored by the Indiana Society, Daughters of the American Pevolutlon rt' N c L . .
