Young Democrats SERVING AS YOUNG DEMOCRAT OFFICERS were: Eugene Neises, vice-presidentg Carolyn Knox, presidentg and Laura Dailey, secretary-treasurer. Political Organizations Urge Party upport The two political organizations on the General Beadle campus are the Young Democrats and the Young Republicans. Both organizations believe that the future of the government lies in the hands of the well educated young men and women of today. It is the aim of these organizations to create an interest amongst the members of the student body concerning the problems which face their govern- ment and to encourage every young voter to take an active interest in political and public affairs. Both political organizations work to acquaint the General Beadle students with the ideals of their individual parties and urge their support in order that these ideals may become active and successful principals of government. Its purpose is to provide opportunities for worship, fellowship, and training which will promote the spiritual life of Christian young people of the college. Throughout the year the group had speakers from different churches discussing their relig- ious beliefs. They also had socials and Bible studies.
