Bartlett also aided Coach Harter as assistant coach of the varsity team. Prior to coming to Beadle, Bartlett coached at the Flandreau Vocational School and at Huron College. Bartlett has played ball for several professional teams in- cluding baseball with Duluth and Mt. Vernon, Illinois, teams and football with the Bal- timore Colts.
