X Q 'I' ff Q? fp S T U D E N T C O U N C I L The Officers of the Student Council for the year 1947-1948 were Reginald Goeke, presidantg Leland Wise, vicegpresidentg Florence Adams, sec- rdyary-treasurerg and Virginia Hugelshofer, re- porter. The purpcsesof this organization are Cl? to sponsor school garties, C23 to co-ordinate the dee sires of student body with that of the faculty, C55 to handle lesser problems delegated to it.- The student council planned the freshmen par- ty, the Christmas party, and the dance on February 9. All these parties were well attended and a gpod time was had by all. The problem of election of cheerleaders was delegated to the student council who handled the election in a well-planned manner. Several other matters of lesser nature was settled satisfactory to all. In another year, the student council will be given more time Cif that is possiblej to expand. its program, to obtain a written constitution and to earn for itself a larger place in the school activities.
