CHAPEL On every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday the entire student body and faculty met together in the gym to begin the with God. On Tuesday the chapel was led by either a faculty member or a student. Mr. DeYoung led a hymn sing on Thursday morning, and we usually had a special speaker on Friday. The days that we didn't get together in the gym, individual class had chapel in their home room. On Mondays the students could also get together and have prayer. Being able to get together for chapel and prayer was a privilege for everyone. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all the ministers from the various churches, students, and other guest speakers who took time to talk to us. Again, as in other years, we exchanged chapel with Southwestern. 6

He was patient and understanding, had his good moods and bad, but we loved him. He strived to make us understand his point of view. He had time to goof off with his favorite senior class. He stayed after hours and came on weekends to work. He took time out from his schoolwork for his fiance. 5

LADIES AUXILIARY The Ladies Auxiliary has done many things for our school in this past year. They have given us two bulletin boards, choir collars, a mimeograph machine, money, and numerous other things. They also sponsored a get aquainted night for the teachers the the Parent- Senior Banquet. To raise money they put on the Hostess Supper, a Salad Luncheon, and the Dutch Smorgasbord. During the summer they all helped in the general school cleaning. We want to take this opportunity to thank each member for her work and interest. 7
