Daniel Webster CORSICA CO OP THE ANNUAL STAFF OF DAKOTA CHRISTIAN HIGH DEDICATES THIS I96I ANNUAL TO THE MEMORY OF WILMA MAAS THERE'S AN OPEN GATE AT THE END OF THE ROAD THROUGH WHICH EACH MUST GO ALONE AND THERE IN A LIGHT WE CAN NOT SEE OUR FATHER CLAIMS HIS OWN. BEYOND THE GATE YOUR LOVED ONE FINDS HAPPINESS AND REST AND THERE IS COMFORT IN THE THOUGHT THAT A LOVING GOD KNOWS BEST. CORSCIA BOWLING CENTER ADMINISTRATION SCHOOL BOARD Orville Vanden Bos, John Vreugdenhil, Heyme De Lange, Ed Mulder, Evert De Vries, William Veenstra, Joe Maas. Ryan Dyk It is the firm conviction of the Board of Dakota Christian High that God has been very good to us in the past school year. That midst a world which dishonors our God in pub- lic instruction due to the fact of it being man centered, that midst a world which changes with rapid speed, we once more say that God has been good to us in giving us the privi- lege of working for the cause of secondary christian education where we may strive to honor God above all. It also has been a privilege for each student that has attended such a school. I am sure that the faculty, parents, and friends of our school must testi- fy to that fact. In looking back to the past year there can be no regrets for those who have thus been active through the grace of our God in his Son. With that conviction we all may continue in the time that lies before us without an ultimate disappointment. EXCELSIOR CLUB - Platte HARRISON CHRISTIAN REF. The main purpose of this body is the promotion of better understanding between the faculty and the student body. We want to take this opportunity to thank both the faculty and student body for their coopera- tion during the course of this year and sin- cerely hope this same spirit may prevail in future years at D. C. H.S., so that the Stu- dent Council may develop into an even more effective organization. Last, but not least, in behalf of the en- tire student body, a heartfelt thank-you to everyone who sacrificed so much for the erection of the new auditorium-gymnasium This project is not only a great asset to the community but was also an important fac- tor in the building of strong school spirit in both varsity and intramural activities.
