' l C LASS POEM The girl who gives the tint and punch to this year's class is Darlene Vander Heiden, a very pretty lass. She's had 3 years of love and ro- mance and will marry as soon as Uncle Sam gives her feller a chance. Erwin Bultje always looks so innocent and so- ber, and that really is a fact. But watch out! He's really smooth, he does his mischief be- hind your back. Elaine Noteboom is that fine Todd County girl, who is always full of fun. She has talent, style, and beautyg she will never say har sh words to anyone. Gladys Van Vuren is the quiet type, she always strives to do things right, she always pleases in every way and does her work without delay. The Vander Zee twins are very much alike. They both are very quiet, and both are very bright. They do their work with competence and are always right on time. They both are very friend- ly, and their etiquette is fine. Most people know Clifford Vander Ley as very bashful and shy. But don't let hirn kid you, he's not that kind of guy. When he's with a group of boys, he doe sn't say too much. But leave a bunch of girls around him, he'll add a laugh- ing touch. Whenever you see Lloyd Muckey you also see his car. His car does sometimes give him trou- ble, but Lloyd can fix it. He has had it apart before. He knows a lot about mechanics, and likes to piddle around with technical gixnmics. Now Arlene Kok is very fast at every thing. She plans to marry in the Spring. She likes to cook, and she does a lot of baking. She says, It doesn't involve much thinking. Vivian Vander Zee is a faithful lass, and always ready to accept a task. She does her best at everything and to her studies she is loyal. But her ever ready blush her fun does sometirnes spoil. Dorothy Maas is the brain and expert of the class. She takes her studies seriously and does her best at every given task. She plans to go to college in the fall and wishes to be a teacher, best of all. Carol Jongejeugd always has a merry smile, and if she gets started she will giggle a while. She has a good tirne wherever she is and some- thing that's fun she surely won't miss. Margaret Vander Tuin is very friendly and always ready for some fun. She is very good at speaking and will converse with anyone. She plans to go to college and soon become a teacher. We wish her a very happy and blessed future. As for the author of this poem, there is not much to say of him. You just make your evalua- tion, and he will sure go along with it.
