LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT We, the senior class of Dakota Christian High School, in the village of New Holland, county of Douglas, state of South Dakota, in the year nineteen hundred and fifty-eight, being of sound mind and memory, not under the influence of any person or force whatsoever, do ordain and establish this last will and testament in the following manner. ARTICLE I To the faculty, we will the study periods we should have had, but wouldn't have ever used. To Mr. Hiernstra, we will success in removingour school's name from the teachers wanted sec- tion in the Banner. To Mr. Sietsema, our class sponsor, we will our pep and energy, giving him the authority to distribute it among future basketball teams. To Miss Bleeker, we will the page numbers of our annual so she can use them for her bookkeeping. To Mr. Achterhof, we leave him standing on the street corner watching all the girls go by. ARTICLE II I, Erwin Bultje, will my athletic ability to anyone who falls over his own feet, and my brown eyes and black shiny hair to Arnold Huizenga. I, LeRoy Feenstra, will my illegible handwriting to Patty Davidson, and my typing ability to Nor- ma Hansum. ' I, Carol Jongejeugd, will my flat tires to any Junior who wants them, and my loyalty to one boy to Carol Krediet who likes a variety. V I, Arlene Kok, will my ability to wear a diamond to Luella De Jong and my glasses to Leroy Veenstra. I, Dorothy Maas, will my German Book to Norma Hansum and my recipe for barbecue to any poor junior cook. I, Lloyd Muckey, will my liking of cars to any Junior with sore feet, and my pink admit slips to Bernard Fay. I, Elaine Noteboom, will my cedar chest to Junior Vander Tuin for his future wife, and my locker, books, and other junk to Judy Vander Pol. I, Gladys Van Vuren, will my dark hair to Kathy Hoekstra, and I will leave as quietly as I came. I, Darlene Vander Heiden, will my green chevie to any junior who wants the heap, and my front seat in room 4 to Clarice Noteboom. I, Clifford Vander Ley, will my ability to be on the honor roll to Gerald Feenstra, and I will leave the freshmen girls because I don't want them anyway. I, Margaret Vander Tuin, will my height to Kathy Hoekstra who does not like being looked down upon, and my report cards to anyone who doesn't dare to take his home. I, Myra Vander Zee, will my quietness to Carol Krediet, and my long fingernails to anyone who chews his. I, Vivian Vander Zee, will my sweet soprano voice to any old baritone frog, and my blush to any paleface. I, Wanda Vander Zee, will my interest in school to Joan Hubers and my twin sister to Judy Van- der Pol. ARTICLE III To the junior boys, we senior girls, will our gift of gab. To the faculty, we senior boys, will our water guns. To the juniors, we seniors will a liberal portion of our class spirit, our old test papers, and our seats. To the sophomores, we will our ability to be perfect ladies and gentlemen and also our good be- havior. To the freshrnen, we leave them so they may become sophomores. ARTICLE IV We, Dings and Dongs, now leave this page of the annual so you can look through the rest of the book. 11
