OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT The Operations Department encompasses the Radarmen, whose take is to acquire and track all contacts both air and surface within range, the electronic technicians whose tremendous task it is to keep the radarmen ' s equipment in good working condition and the radiomen, who give us communication with our surroundings, from formation signals to news broadcasts to those men who operate our ham station on their own time- to let us talk with our far off loved-ones - also included, but completely separate is the medical or plll-pusher section where cuts and bruises, sea sickness, and more serious ailments and injuries are handled expertly and quickly .
