Over the course of those years the organizations' main goals have been to work for the bet- terment of the brotherhood, Daemen College, and the sur- rounding community. In our 18th year on campus we have been as active as in our past years. Some of our activities in- clude the Abnormal Formal , the Caribbean Cruise , Tuck-Ins and numerous off- campus affairs. You may have been down at “Brunners with us on any given Thursday night, or attended the parties we threw there. At any event the closeness of our brotherhood is always evident. The colors of Blue and Gold are not only on our chests, but deep within our hearts. We look forward to many years at Daemen where the traditions and virtues we live by, and stand on, will en- dure. What is bbB? The bbB social club is an organization comprised of individuals of all races, sexes, and religions who are associated with Daemen College. The club was originally formed in De- cember, 1985 by students who wanted to create an organization which would meet their needs ranging from academic interests to group oriented social activities. The purpose of the organization is to not only provide these needs to the origional founders and its members, but also to anyone else associated with the college who may have similar needs. bbB is concerned with having fun through various group activities, from closed group social events to activities with fraternaties, sororities, or other social clubs of Daemen College, to parties open to the entire campus. We will also be involved with working as a group to perform community service activities concerning the college or any outside organizations in need of assistance. Initiation into the club is open to all individuals associated with Daemen College. However the club does reserve the right to deny an individual membership, for various reasons as agreed upon by the members of the organization. We are looking for people who are interest- ed in helping us achieve our goals. bbB is not a greek organization, although through the formalities of organization it may appear to be somewhat like one. Our members stress group unity for the benefit of one another and the group as a whole. bbB hopes to always be recognized and thought of as a positive addition to the school and it will only be involved in activities which portray this. We, the members of bbB are here to have fun, but also to benefit the Daemen College campus. We hope you will support us in our endeavors. Sincerely yours, the members of bbB The Summit 1 Stefane Blazina Editor, Les Moen Advisor, Renee Vacanti Business Affairs. 2 Stefane Bla- zina, Sue Skowronski, Jodi Zipp, Renee Vacanti, Les Moen. 3 Mi- chael DeFrancesco, Mae Wis- niewski, Zuhair Albayed. 51 I President Of Daemen College Dr. Robert S. IF you can understand your limitations And not waste time on tasks beyond your scope, But take the future as a brand-new challenge That you can meet with confidence and hope ... IF you can listen to those who would advise you And then judge for yourself just what is right, if you can Ijeep in touch with all about you And settle differences without a fight ... IF you can find delight in simple pleasures And see the rainbow-not the falling rain. If you can lose-and never give up trying, believing that there’s nothing done in vain ...
