This policy eased the entry of qualified transfer stu- dents and in no way prevented students from taking 18 or more hours in foundations. Another policy change was recently announced regarding comprehensive ex- aminations. These examinations have been eliminated as a requirement for graduation with the recommendation that the chairman, faculty and student representatives of each concentration consider a comprehensive experience where appropriate.
