ENGLISH I. DEBATE CLUB. Several awards were re- ceived by the Debate Club in statewide tournaments. Participation in the National Invitational Debate Tournament at Miami University was their major accomplishment of the scholastic year. President Linda Young, Secretary Kathleen Hunt, Vice president-treasurer Sue Yeager. 2. AQUINAS BOOK CLUB. Modern litera- ture was the main focus of the A.B.C. this year. In advancing this aim, they held dis- cussions on modern African, Latin American and Russian literature. Secretary-treasurer Sara Manning, Vice presi- dent Elaine Kruchten, President Mary Benincasa. MATHEMATICS 3. JOSEPH A. ORZECHOWSKI, B.A. Mr. Orzechowski helps explain math even to non-majors. 4, 5.
