Georgia. Her ready smile and ever- accessible counsel helped to guide us during the forma- tive years of college life; and now as we prepare to leave Rosary Hill, we realize how much we have depended, perhaps how much we have imposed on her. It is, therefore, with sincere affec- tion that we dedicate this year’s Summit to Rosary Hill’s unforgettable Dean—Sister M. Georgia. 4 THEME “If you shall number me among the lyric bards My exalted head shall strike the stars” —Horace The recognition of his powers, intellectual, moral, and physical gives to man the impetus and courage whereby he might achieve his highest ideals. As college students we are attempting to attain a degree of spiritual and academic perfection; as college graduates we shall continue to labor toward the realization of our goal. For this reason, we have chosen “Strike the stars” as the theme of The Summit of nineteen hundred and fifty four. This theme represents not what we have accomplished, but what we hope to accomplish. Our four years at Rosary Hill have given us a glimpse of the faint light of the stars. Now by constant effort and a Firm Faith, we may ... strips ijic stars 7 9 - .V'i The campus glen Doorway to Daemcn . ,Y ' A « , “ • V K'1 • , : T • r • r. r- 'V. M.A., Sociology President A TRIBUTE The students of Rosary Hill wish to pay tribute to the new President of the College, Sister M. Angela, who in her first year of office has demonstrated her devotion to the spirit and letter of the college. Her profound understanding of the necessity and importance of educating the Catholic woman of today has manifested itself in her realization of, and assistance in, solving the problems of the students. Because of Sister Angela’s adherence to the highest academic standards, the graduates of Rosary Hill College are equipped with an outstanding intellectual foundation. Sister Miriam, O.S.F.
