■ 4 2Ae STUDENTS TALLAPOOSA COUNTY HIGH . . Resent VOL VI Prof. A. H. Wallace 0u PRINCIPAL To Alton II. Wallace whose spirited, wise and patient teaching has won our gratitude and esteem, whose friendly, understanding nature has won our admiration and regard, we the senior class of 1947-48 dedicate this issue of the Talisman with affection and good wishes. When the golden sun is melting In the purple of the night There is promise of the morrow That it will be fair and bright. So today we see the gleaming Through regrets that we must part Of the beauty of the future And the hopes that till each heart. We go forth with firm endeavor .And a purpose ever true And our motto is perfection In whatever we may do. Though the land and sea divide us We will ever cherish dear Our beloved Alma Mater And her name will we revere. PROF. A. H. WALLACE MRS.
