The Student Nurses Association of Virginia was established to encourage each of its members to recognize and accept his or her responsibilities as a member of the community, the college, and as a future professional registered nurse. This club was open to all full-time nursing students at the college. Funds were raised through activities such as bake sales, car washes, and rummage sales. The money from these activities was used to help provide transportation to District Vl, State, and National S.N.A. meetings as well as picnics and banquets. S.N.A.V. members also served the community through working at bloodmobiles, organizing a sitting service for elderly persons, and doing volunteer work at the hospital. l eel Vickie Jones - Treasurer Helen Carter - Secretary

X The Future Secretaries Association, with its 20 members, sponsored various activities to raise money for club proiects. These activities included bake sales, ' donut soles, and a dance.
