The girls took the Interscholastic League Cham- pionship for the second consecutive year. The three highest scorers were Linda Wieiigman with 132 points, Johnna Howard with 113 points, and Marta Zucca with 94 points. Senior Lin- da Wieligman was given the honor of most valuable player.

Coach: Everett Draper This year Van Horn's Boys' Bowling Team took first place in the Interscholastic League Tournament with a pin fall of 5221. The boys were tied with Southwest for second place with a record of 22 wins and 6 losses. Mr. Everett Draper was coach of the boys' team. I take pride in the girls, and the girls take pride in the team. Then at the end of the season whether we win or lose, we can be proud of our perfor- mance. Coach Pauk's philosophy .proved successful when Junior Varsi- ty turned out a perfect season of five wins and no defeats in regular season play. The girls also took first place in . the Lillis Tournament.
