Who attended every football practice, every game, and worked hard to make this football season a success? Sure, the players and coaches did, but there were some other people putting out a lot of time and effort - the managers. Richard Lund's official title was Trainer, al- though he had a variety of jobs, from caring for minor injuries, and taping ankles, to loading and unloading heavy equipment. Terre Clemens and Robba Addison were Equipment Managers. Besides handling the equipment, the girls also ran errands for the coaches, acted as water girls during the games, and assisted Rich- ard Lund with injuries. Terre felt that the biggest ad- vantage of managing was being able to view the games from the field. We had the best seats in the house. 57
