Membership is obtained after gaining twenty-five points which are earned by participating in weekly contests. This year, the league has doubled its member- ship and raised money by raffling off a $100.00 bill. Two members, Kelley Hazen and Jeff Propst, commented on the mounting tension before a tournament and the challenges of competition. They brought out the idea that this was more than an organiza- tion: they were friends, working toward a common goal, they be- came a family, sharing the hard- ships and the good times. 189
