Girls' Athletic Club w 1: Jerry Jennings, Vice-President; Mona Midget, President; Becky Grimmett, Kim Hodge. Row 2: Treasurer, Denise Herman; Secretary, y McDaniel; Kellea Jenkins, Historian; Marta Zucca, Linda Elgin. Row 3: Kathy Crain, Teresa Mitchell, Sandy Sherman, Tonya Norris, Corrie g, Brenda Crain, Sgt.-at-Arms; Sherri Waterman, Debbie Messer. The Girls' Athletic Club was primarily a service club. The girls were ready and willing to provide needed service for any of Van Horn's various teams, but they mainly served the wrestling and gymnastics teams this year. Genuine interest was the basic requirement for joining the club, but the usual grade requirements had to be met also. The interest of the girls was shown by the fact that half of them had already lettered in a sport or participated in one during the year. Sponsor: Mrs. Pauk 173
