Great Music Spirit in Tepee 23 say come see Little Mary Sunshine. Thus the fall musical was advertised, while the cast, chorus, and orchestra were rehearsing every night for over a month prior to the November 21 and 22 performances. Those rehearsals became extremely long when one missed getting his order in to McDon- ald's and had to watch hungrily while the rest of the cast enjoyed Big Macs and the orchestra munched french fries. When the final dress rehearsal came, sto- maches had begun to tie themselves in knots, and ev- eryone began having those last-minute doubts - ev- eryone except Mr. Cofer, Mr. Fike, and a few veterans of previous Van Horn musicals. They knew that once the curtain rose on opening night all would be well. And as always, they were right. Little Mary Sunshine was such a light-hearted production that it was hard to determine who had the most fun - the actors or the audience. if r2 Little Mary Sunshine 'r 'r t'ri. 2
