Lt All right, you guys, line up! Pick up your knees! Point your toes! And SMILE! These words could be heard every Thursday afternoon echoing down the first floor hall. Why? The 75-76 Falconettes were practicing in the cafeteria. Their year was filled with hard work, high goals, and lots of praise. They took first place in the Homecoming float contest and marched their way to a first place trophy in the Fourth of July Parade last summer. These weren't the only accomplichments of the Falconettes. They gained schoolwide recongnition for their updated and upbeated performances. They rocked to such tunes as Get Down Tonight , Barbara Ann , and That's The Way . The members of Drill Team be- came a close-knit organization. As the progressed, they found lasting friendships and many fond memories. As captain Kathy Davis put it, We've accomplished more this year than anyone thought Sponsor, Mrs. KOCh we could, but we couldn't have done without the deep dedication and hard work of each member. 107

Exceptional Enthusiasm was shown this year by the Pep Club. They underwent a change as a new point system was incorporated. To remain in the club and gain certain privileges, every girl was required to accumulate a set number of points during each sports season. Points were gained by going to games, making banners, and selling spirit ribbons. This system was designed to get more Sponsor; Diane Anderson support for all sports and to keep the club fully active all year. Pep Pals faithfully decorated the athletes' lockers, giving them person- al backing. The big project of the Pep Club was the Super Falc dance in January. Because of each girl's involvement and devo- tion, this was one of the Pep Club's most successful years. President; Karen Rice, Vice-President; Tammy Martin, Co-Secretaries; Susan Wopata and Sara Hoffman, Treasurer; Diana Hopkins, Reporter; Becky Gooch, Sgt.-at-Arms; Linda Topi. 108
