Dabney High School State of North Carolina June 3, 1966 County of Vance LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT City of Dabney We, the graduating class of 1966, being of sound minds and judgment, do hereby declare this to be our last will and testament. ARTICLE I | To our Parents: We leave our love and appreciation for making these twelve years possible. ARTICLE II To the Faculty: We leave the strength to pull through without us next year. ARTICLE III To Miss Petty, Our Sponsor and Mr. Honeycutt: We leave our appreciation for their guidance and understanding. ARTICLE IV To the Juniors: We leave the distinction of being the LAST class to graduate from Dear Old D. H. S. ; we also leave our Senior privileges. ARTICLE V During our years of school we have acquired special abilities which we would like to bestow upon the members of Dabney High School. I, Mike Averette, leave everything, but take Peggy Reavis with me. I, Danny Guin, leave bus 12 to anyone who is crazy enough to take it. I, Charles Ivey, leave my ability to stay alert in class to anyone who doesn't get enough sleep at home. ‘ I, David Parrott, leave a pool stick to Tim Knott who might get along better with it. I, Ronnie Perkinson, leave my dependability to Joel Harris, who needs it. I, Andy Stevenson, having a great knowledge of the mechanics of cars and other involved things, find that I have nothing to leave. I, Jimmy Turnage, leave my ability to co-operate to Dickie Bobbitt. I, Wayne Woody, leave my ability to go to sleep in class to Jimmy Wright. I, Faye Capps, leave my position as President of the Monogram Club to someone who will enjoy the struggle to get ready for Homecoming and the fight to raise money for athletic awards. I, Jean Elliott, leave the last desk on the last row in chemistry to anyone who has good sight and hearing and can make a good guess at what is going on. I, Linda Glover, leave the right way to say my name to Mr. Woodlief. I, Doris Norwood, leave my ability to keep an organized home to Pam Breedlove. I, Peggy Lou Reavis, leave a bottle of tranquilizers and a pad and pencil to anyone who is lucky enough to receive the office of secretary-treasurer. I, Claudia Roberson, leave my position as Chief Editor to Brenda Wrenn, hoping she will have nerve enough to keep it. I, Gloria Smiley, bid Dabney High School good-by.
