Stiehm, ln order to promote more school spirit and better cheering and to increase attendance and support of any junior high school events, the Evergreen Pep Club was organized through the efforts of the Student Council and the cheerleaders. All members of the seventh-, eighth-, and ninth-grade classes are eligible for membership. Upon payment of dues, each club member receives a green and white beanie with a white E . As a service to the student body, the Evergreen Pep Club has conducted sales of Everest High School covers and of pic- ture post cards. Refreshments were sold by the club at the wrestling meets. Officers serving for the 1955-56 year are Judy Olmsted, president and Betty Pozorske, secretary-treasurer. Miss Dawn Narron acted as advisor. 78
