This year's team has participated in Four invitational tournaments. On January ll and I2 they went to the Blinn Junior College Tournament. They were in the finals for Consolation, however, they lost the game. Donnie was chosen on the all-star team and received a gold medal. ' On February T6 the squad itself gave an invitational tournament consisting of eight teams. Before going to the finals they defeated Katy and Waller. They won the finals over Missouri City and kept their own first-place trophy. lrma and Donnie were chosen on the all-star team and were awarded silver volleyballs. A The following Saturday, February 23, they journeyed to Hempstead. They defeated Tomball and Waller which sent them to the championship finals again. They met Hempstead. the home team only to win again and bring back a first-place trophy. Ketha and Donnie were chosen for the all-star team .ind received silver volleyballs. They won over Hempstead, Montgomery and the home team at the Waller Tournament on March l to win another first-place trophy. Donnie was chosen on the all-star team. As the Bobcat goes to press the girls have lost only three games out of nineteen. They hope to keep this winning spirit and win District Championship for their school.
