Main Office: The Huh Of CFHS Dr. Gilbert R. Weldy The Main Office, being the center of incoming business, is the heart of the school. Taking phone calls, receiving visitors, keeping permanent records, and handling attendance are a few of its duties. Dr. Gilbert Weldy, principal, is the chief administrator of our school. He takes care of the school in general by determining school policies, in addition to re- vising curriculum, working with Student Council, club advisers, unit principals, counselors and teach- ers. His secretary, Miss Karen McDonald, prepares college transcripts, takes dictation and performs a host of other clerical duties. Miss Karen McDonald Activities Office Mrs. Audrey Mellinger and Mr. Clarence Hend- ricks are kept busy handling the finances of all sports and clubs. Besides scheduling events, they pay all checks and keep the books for the entire school system. All resale items go through the office as do all bills and banking. Cuyahoga Falls School System provides two special services to the students attending any of the thirteen schools in the city. The speech therapists correct speech irregularities, and the psychologists provide individual guidance. Seated left to right are the speech therapists: Mrs. Patricia Skinner, Mrs. Jane Cochrane, and Mr. George Dillon.. Nurse, Therapists, And Psychologists Fill Vital Positions 16 Mrs. Ruby Craig, the school nurse, is available at various times of the day to aid students who become ill at school. A schedule of the times that she is in the high school is posted on the bulletin board out- side the office.

Seniors The Concern Of Unit A Mr. Alfred Marshall Mrs. Glenna Snyder The big responsibility of Unit A, composed of the Senior Class, rests on the shoulders of Mr. Alfred Marshall, principal of the Class. Mrs. Glenna Snyder, secretary of Unit A, keeps the Seniors’ records of attendance, academics, and activities. Mrs. Elizabeth Ellis and Mr. Howard D.
