,W PGY Leary Jerilyn Achberger Editor Managing Editor TIGER TALES Me, write up a football game? The absence of boys on the Tiger Tales staff this year forced girls who cauldn't tell a pigskin from a pokeweed to do just that. Last September, l7 senior girls, under the guidance at Mrs. Louise Kittell, set out to learn all about the newspaper business. Illusions of banging away on typewriters and shouting Copy boy were shattered when the staff realized that they also had to solicit ads, sell subscriptions, lay out pages, write headlines, and do a dozen other things that had never entered their minds. Mr. Moore satisfies a sweet tooth with a selection from the Tiger Tales candy cart. v-tAff V W '1 I 1 I' -ff' Pride in a job well done is experienced by Priscilla Secrist, Jan Mills, Karin Lockhart, Kay Roscover, Mrs, Kittell, Pat Leary, Louise Masquelier, and Ellen Taylor.
