Lee IN REMEMBRANCEH The curtain fell on'this life too soon, For the play was lust begun, But Though the taper of life is out, He lives in eternal sun. For heaven continues though life be past And it is a better shore Than this topsy-turvy world of ours On which he rooms no more. But we who are left ask if this be joy To have him taken thus And the answer lies in remembrance Of what he did for us.
