The Board ot Education is a group of five persons elected by the citizens of Cuyahoga Falls for a term ot tour years. They hold bi-monthly meetings with the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent tor the purpose ot establishing policy and hand- ling items such as hiring teachers, buying books, supplies, and equipment, and planning construction ot new buildings. The students of Falls High are indeed grateful to these persons for the fine school system they enjoy. 8

DEANS Mrs. Ellis Mr. Sauter 10 DEAN OF GIRLS Mrs. Elizabeth Ellis is our Dean of Girls. Her job? There are innumerable tasks for her to perform. Her biggest job is that of being a great help to the girls. She is in charge of the girls' attendance, teaches psychology, is sponsor of the Student Council and yet she takes time out to be of help when and where she can. We say, Thanks, Mrs. Ellis. DEAN OF BOYS Mr. Saurer, as Dean of Boys, has many important duties. Among these are taking care of attendance and the scheduling of the llth grade girls and all of the boys. His desire to make a better school has helped Falls High and many of the boys in it. He is the ad- viser for the Hi-Y, business manager for the school annual, and lUth grade sponsor. He teaches classes in general science or mathematics.
