Cut Bank's boys cross-country team led by senior Jordan Peccia placed second in the state class B championships held in Helena on October 24 The Wolt boys ran a great team race with only 60 seconds separating the top 5 Cut Bank athletes. Peccia was 10th in 16:58 tor 3 miles and earned all-state and state medalist honors tor the second straight year Behind him it was freshmen Sam Volkman 13th in 17:03. and freshmen Stan Brown 14th in 17:13. Junior Jon Ebelt was 26th in 17:45, and freshmen Ralph Dempsey 35th in 17:58 to complete the scoring five Jeff Kelley and Jason VanDeKop placed 38th and 40th respectively in 18 06 and 18 17. Both runners were freshmen The Wolf girls placed 7th at state Veronica Peterson was the top Cut Bank runner with a 20 49 time for the 3 miles. She is a junior Behind Peterson it was sophomore Dana Bear child 22:04. junior Sylvia Chambers 22:25, sophomore Pam Zenzius 23:55. freshmen Kerry Johnson 23:59. and sophomore Ami Anderson 25:12.
