The new members were cos- tumed as everything from Groucho Marx to the Strawman to the Big Bird. The team earned a 3 win 6 loss re- cord for the season which seems to be an encouraging step up from re- cent years performances. The team was also helped considerably by fans who seemed to possess more spirit than they have in a long time. It seemed to help as the Wildcats won the opener against Pine Ridge, break- ing a 9 game losing streak, and went on to win two games, including the homecoming game. The team was lead by seniors, team captain, Tim Tennyson, first team all-conference tackles Steve Bradeen and Loren Lyndoe, and honorable-mention all-conference linebacker Matt Ramsey. We hope the trend toward winning football started during the 1973 sea- son will carry over to once again make the school and community proud of wildcat football. The Wildcats were led by Coach Tom Lintz and Assistant Coach Larry Luitzens 36 TOP: The Wildcat team from left to right.
