The Custer armory audxtorlum was dedxcated December 14 1955 It was a result of a umted actlon on the part of c1t1zen groups the board of educatxon the cxty counc1l P T A and the National Guard It wxll be used by the Custer High School Natxonal Guard and comrnumty The spaciousness of the armory gymnasnun wxll be the most enJoyed part of the new bulldxng It has a seating capaclty of 2 000 as an audxtoruun and 1 500 for basketball garnes There are also a lobby three off1ces one kxtchen and lunch counter two storage roocms two restrooms two locker roozns and one mechan xcal equlpment room xn the new bu11dxng It 15 connected to the old high school buxldmg by two ramps 2 .
