Sr. of '53 was the outstanding prom and banquet pre- sented at C.C.H.S. in the last decade. Rhapsody in Blue was an original theme, and the lnspirators provided smooth, dreamy, danceable music. An entire false ceil- ing of variegated blue covered the prom scene. Rhapsody in Blue appeared around the entire wall surface. Card tables surrounded the dance floor giving our prom the night club air. The traditional Grand March started the prom in a color- ful array of formals and best suits. Our effort was re- warded by enjoyment April 24, '53, and a host of lasting memories. Miss Byer and Mr. Amend as our Jr. sponsors were in- strumental in directing the banquet and prom. ,Zee Faedin' 0ver Yonder A 3-act hillbilly farce was presented by the juniors in December of '53.
