The youngest member of the faculty is petite Mademoiselle Shirley Whitesmith. A new teacher, she is the assistant ad- visor of the yearbook. Her students are developing their ability parler fran- cais . Upon her return to teaching, soft-spoken Mrs. Eleanor Peters was assigned as a senior homeroom teacher, but her classes consist of freshmen. Under her direc- tion they are becoming acquainted with fine literature and are learning how to express themselves clearly. Mr. Wayne Durandetta, an able assist- ant coach, is known for his patience and good sense ot humor. In his English classes students finally straighten out verb tenses. A familiar sight in a brown coupe is Mrs. Mildred Houser. She keeps her stu- dents posted on current events. Who will ever forget the lessons of courtesy we learned in her classes?
