OUR PRI CIPAL Mr. Bonwell Few students realize what ability and ex- perience is required to hold the position of principal of a large school such as Curtis. We are fortunate to have a principal with the quali fications and interest in his students that Mr. Bonwell has. Mr. Bonwell graduated from Kansas State Teachers College of Emporia and received his Masters Degree from Stanford University. He had five and a half years experience teaching mathematics. Before coming to Curtis he was principal of Waco, Robinson, and Hamilton. I-Ie has been at Curtis for thirteen years, and has seen Curtis grow from a school of 600 stu- dents to 1219,

OUR VICE- PRI CIPAL Mr. O. K. Anderson Mr. Anderson's duties as vice-principal of Curtis are to check attendance and keep up good conduct among all Curtis students. All of the students of Curtis highly respect Mr. Anderson for his ability as vice-principal and educator. A graduate of Kansas State Teachers College of Emporia, Mr. Anderson has had eighteen years of teaching experience. Mr. Anderson was a superin- tendent at Cullison, Kansas, before coming to Wichita. He came to Curtis in 1958. 4
