I L i X wr Antoinette Palma Yoo Ung Hyun Foster Children Curtis students first became interested in adopting foreign students through the Foster Parent Plan in 1954. Since that time two different Korean boys, a Greek girl, and an Italian girl have been helped. At the present time fifteen dollars is sent each month to our Italian girl, Antoinetta, and to the Korean boy, Yoo Ung. The Student Council has sponsored this project and has planned many more money rais- ing activities. The newspaper staff has donated all profits to the support of the two young people this past year. Letters which are received give to Curtis students an understanding and appreciation of another country, and students in turn write of our school and country.
