UEDICATIU The theme of our Yearbook is Art Through the Ages. Just as art has pro- gressed through the ages, the works of painters, sculptors, and architects making its development possible, so have we, the Class of 1959, progressed through four years at Curtis, the invaluable support and counsel of our grade adviser making our advancement possible. A grade adviser is one who not only plans student subject-groupings for graduation, but one who gives of his free time to make the class proms success- ful, one who not only takes care of class dues, class elections and myriads of minor functions, but one who, most of all, unstintingly guides members of his class through their school difficulties. Mr. Goldin is iust such a person. We seniors look upon him not merely as a faculty member, but as a lovable friend from whom we may ask advice and from whom we may be certain of receiving what we seek. We realize that nothing can materially supplant these attributes and the dedication of purpose which he possesses. We therefore, in all gratitude, dedicate this, our Yearbook, to Mr. Oscar Goldin, our grade adviser.
