Crack and Hrzfss-Hannity The 1945 Track Team has elected Alvin Rockwell and Bernard Di Sarro co-captains. Early practice showed many returning veterans, who will try to carry our name to victory. Among them are Jack Fisher, Martin Godgart, Richard Rhodes, Vincent Baxter, and Nathan Shurman. The 1944-45 Cross-Country Team placed third in the P. S. A. L. finals. therebv losing the city crown, which Curtis had held for several previous years. Donald Rowan was captain and Donald Davenport led the boys in scor- ing throughout the season. The team has vowed to regain the city crown next year. 41
