l'Vhen dusk begins to fall, and a light can be seen in the other- wise dark corridor, it's the Log staff worrying about head- lines and other last-minute items that plague them and their adviser, Miss Dorothy A. Spear. The results are worth the worry- ing, however, for the Log l1as won many medalist ratings in the Columbia Scholastic Press Association Contests. For the task of covering the school, members of the staff are well prepared after studying journalism. In the same way, Log reporters are being fitted for future careers in the newspaper world. But it takes more than reporters and editors to bring us the Log. Bright and early Thursday mornings, members of the Circulation Staff dash up and down stairs, in and out of rooms, delivering the fruits of their labor on the previous day, when they folded Log upon Log YVith Miss Hannah Ferber to supervise them, these workers are an important part of the Log establishment. Another branch of the Log family is the Advertising Staff, which, under the direction of Mr. Ben- jamin Starr, persuades merchants to sell their wares via the school paper. So, the Log informs, trains, but most of all, delights us. Carry on, Log! LOG REPORTERS IST ROW: G. Garrison, A. Munee, B. Baumann, D. Davenport, D. Rowan, F. Halperin. 2ND ROW: C. Hurley, K.
