Hono r Society The jobs that Honor Society have done this year have been appreciated both by students and members of the community. For the students benefit, L Honor Society offers tutors and runs the school store. They also chose to sponsor the Literary Magazine. For the benefit of the community and stu- dents alike they participated in a pledge drive for the new Pierce County Library. An educational trip to the Seattle Science Center was also of interest to many.

Susan Newschwander, Service Chair. Kathy Twitchell, I-list. Laurie Aymond, Friendship Chair. julie Pagel, Social Chair. Karen Wood, Program Chair. Janice Bonneville . Girls Club again started the school year off right with their an- nual Girls Club Breakfast. The twelve member cabinet led the school through a busy but success- ful year. Powder Puff football, Christmas decorations, Valentine Assembly Father-Daughter Banquet and the Sady Hawkins Tolo were the highlights of the year. The girls also sponsored the joe White Assembly and the spring style show. While keeping our student body ac- tive the girls were also busy visit- ing other schools, attending lead- ership conferences and having parties with other high school cabinets. The year ended with the Mother-Daughter tea and the election of new officers. joe White was the star of an inspiring assembly sponsored by Girls Club. 78
