New Library: Staircase to Learning Library Of all the rooms in the new high school, many people would agree that the library topped them all. Upon entering this lovely room, you felt like you were in a different World, because it is so spacious and Well-lit. The library Was quieter this year because of the furniture and the carpet. The atmosphere was fairly relaxed and the casual reading area was a hit. The library had a better selection of referance, fiction and non-fiction books. For the first time, the library had a Book Fair, Where students were able to purchase an assortment of paperbacks. Mrs. janet Critchlow. . . Librarian cm L Mrs. Linda Wardle. . . Library Clerk To bring in the Christmas Season the library class spent a night decorating the library. Everyone brought whatever they could in the decorations line and some girls brought refreshments. Mrs. Critchlow and Mrs. Wardle were in charge of a library class, and these students helped people, worked at the desk, mended books, kept the shelves in order, checked-out magazines, filed and many other duties which the average person doesn't notice, but Which keeps the library running smoothly.

Drama This year drama had a new teacher Mr. Goin. Along with the other drama classes assisting in the production of the school plays, the second year drama students Went to the grade schools to put on some short presentations. lf- ,. ,,f-3-v -Tlx 4...- Mr. Dennis Goin . . .
