A Cossack Dancers' concert and a dinner in Seattle at the Russian Samovar highlighted Russian Club'S Varied activities. Under the guidance of Mrs. MacPherson, members carried out many unusual and entertaining events. Among these were included the trip to the University of Washington and the proposed two Week back pack trip through the Cascades. Their annual licorice sale satisfied many a hungry Curtis student. 90

A new feature added to Spanish Club this year was the arrival of a new advisor, Mrs. Pavon. Many of the club's activities were based upon seasonal holidays. German Club German Club, under the leadership of Esther Caprez, led a very active club life this year. They started out the year with three car washes to raise money. For the various seasons of the year they had an Oktoberfest, Went Christmas Carolling in German, and had a Christmas party featuring German games and food. They also had their annual Bavarian dinner.
