Catherine Siewers and Anna Anderson are teachingg Ruby Clayton is preparing at Normal for the same profession. Ellen john- son is staying at home. Chauncey Andrews and Fred Thomason are at Illinois University. Leo Farrelly and Charlie Ness are at Armour. Karl Moore also goes to college. Ira Davidson is married. Henry Niewald died in the early part of the year. Walter Wilke, Roy Phillips and Glenn Perry are working, the latter for the telephone company. CLASS OF FEBRUARY, 1909 Jessie Guyette is teaching and Gertrude Corkery and Frances Munroe are at Normal preparing to take up the same work. Herbert Howes is at Illinois. William Yonkman is studying at Armour. Mar- garet Heirich, Margaretta jahn, Emma Gundaker, Isaac Seeberg and Howard Andrews are working. Hilda Nelson is married. THE CURTIS ALUMNI EARLY four years ago the first class graduated from Curtis High School. Since then the number of graduates has in- creased to more than one hundred. As may be supposed, these young people after leaving school have pursued differ- ent activities. Some have become teachers, others have gone to col- lege, still others entered at once upon active work. Nor have all remained in this vicinity. A few have gone as far as California 3 others are in the neighboring states. In order to bring together as many of the graduates as possible and to remember dear old Curtis, the Alumni formed an organization whose members are now among the warmest supporters of their Alma Mater. CLASS OF l907 S Nellie Mclnerney is still at Curtis, not as a pupil but as secretary to Mr. Hill. Nettie Gilligan, Corinne Breuscher, Minnie Gortland and Mae Kleinhuizen are working. Gunhild johnson is married. Marga- ret Powers is teaching a country school and Ruth Sutcliffe teaches kindergarten. Ben McLach1in is at college in Saginaw, Mich. Edgar Twoney is in California. CLASS OF JUNE, 1909 ,Rhoda Hiestand and Louise Isherwood will graduate from Nor- mal in June. Esther Lundquist is at Normal also. Margaret Hill and Frank Loeffler are at Illinois. Geneva Holmes is teaching art, and Renzina Teninga gives music lessons. Helen Sutcliffe and Flor- ence Ward are still together, at a kindergarten training school. Ger- trude Nordin has gone to La Grange, Ill. Lillian Anderson, Georgia Johnson, Anna Morgan and Queenie Moore are working. Roy john- son has a position in the Pullman shops. Charlotte Viall, Nancy Tranpen and Cornelius Teninga are attending the University of Chi- cago. Louis Hoffman goes to Armour, and Lois Howe is teaching school in Iowa. CLASS OF FEBRUARY, 1910 Elizabeth Loecherbach is on the stage. June Frost is at Normal School. Armand Sutch and Erma Roberts are at the University of Illinois.
