Those who were fond of astronomy spent one hour or so observ- ing the Stella-r regions. Others were telling stories. In an out-of-the- way corner, Harold was reading, but every once in awhile he would Ruth-lessly pull to pieces some marguerites which had been given to him by Patra. Lucille was watching him and was smilingg but he did not pay any attention to her or anyone else. He would read a Page, then he would tear a Elowerg but the pages seemed to be longer and longer, so. he soon grew tired of reading and went to Find Patra. A part of the evening's entertainment was some Moor-ish dancing. After this music floated to the ears of those on deck and many went downstairs where some danced and others sat around and watched. While dancing Hiram teased Wilma about wearing a dress that was worn in King Edward-'s timeg but she retorted that his suit was worn in Frank-lin's time. Willie asked Dominick if he remembered Hopkins' store near their old school. You bet I do, he answered. Finding that everything was as it should be, they all went down to the dining room as the supper bell had just rung. Genevieve and Dick found that they had their friends all around them and they talked of the good old times. Ruth Wadman said that she lived in Austin where plenty of Hazel nuts could be found. Four serious sophomores now in school we see, One studied Latin,-they are now reduced to three. Three singing sophomores, sang of sparkling dew, One made a discord, now we hear but two. Two sad sophomores, never would' have fun, One found he couldn't pass, then there was one. One little sophomore, with much work not yet done, Gave up trying in despair, so now there is none, Forty-three TO SCHOOL.
