WALKER COUNTY CHAMPIONS The HCurry Yellow Jacketsn Walker County Champions for the past two seasons, were runners up in the Fifth District Tourna- ment, losing an over time tilt to Warrior High by a 36 to 34 score. They will enter the NState Tournamentn to be held in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Clarence Lee is Captain of the Jackets, and Ed Moles Alternate Captain. EH Moles and John H. Lee were named on the nAll Districtu quintet. The Jackets had a good season winning 22 and losing A. They were also the recipients of the UGood Sportsmanship Awardn from the Fifth District, an honor wthey have won for the past three years. The Curry Jackets won second place in the State meet ' bowing to a strong Priceville quintet in the finals L5 to 49. Curry defeated Monroeville, Bear Creek and Woodland before bowing to Priceville.
