RONALD WAYNE DARNELL as tenderfeet and then a gradual sense of unity and pride in our class and in the school. Our sophomore year brought us prestige in physical education classes . . . apprenticeship for future positions on the varsity team, the Carryer, the Phantom . . . a speaking ac- quaintance with frogs, with the square root of minus one, with Silas Marner. KARALEE THERESA MARVIN Underclassmen began to respect us as We ac- cepted leadership and new responsibilities. The year ended .with the Junior-Senior Ball, the product of our best efforts. At our first senior homeroom meeting, we elected Mike Masten our leader. We had learned the importance of hard work and began preparation for term papers and College Boards. In recognition, We were given a tea by the sophomores and were dismissed first from assembly. As we ordered cards for graduation, we realized that our days at Curry were nearing their close.
