CZ- The Rainbow ' s End .... In September 1984, the majority of us arrived at Curry to begin our four years of college. Our orientation theme was Over the Rainbow. Our job was to reach the other side of the rainbow, to discover our goals and dreams so they could become reality. In titling this yearbook The Rainbow ' s End, we, the members of the yearbook staff, were not focusing on the end to those four years, or the final attainment of our goals and dreams, but rather on what is at the end of every rainbow — the symbolic pot of gold. We see that pot of gold as a symbol of all we have accomplished while here at Curry, as individual students and as a class. The pot of gold represents the achievement of our goals and our dreams; graduation and the end to four years of hard work and a lot of fun. But, at the same time, we see the pot of gold as a new beginning. As we leave Curry behind, we bring with us new found knowledge and the ability to apply it, treasured friends, and a myriad of memories, all of which will carry us through the next phase of our lives — leaving home, starting a new job, getting married, or continuing our education. Each beginning is made richer by the pot of gold from which we came. For us, and we hope for you — the graduates of 1988 — that the pot of gold will represent both an end and a beginning, because from every pot of gold a rainbow ends and a new one begins.

Yeathook DeduuxfLoH, yi-u ' ' ' Warren Bazirgan Kay McCartney Communication: the exchange of ideas, thoughts, messages. Without the ability to impart what we know; to communicate through words or signals, we become isolated, lost in each of our own separate worlds, unable to share in someone else ' s wisdom. But through communication we share our knowledge and learn from each other. Two individuals have spent more than twenty years imparting information to the Curry Community and its surrounding towns. They have dedicated their time to inform each community of Curry ' s activities. Whether it be an individual student, faculty, or staff member ' s success or a sporting team ' s winning season or the renovation of the physical plant, Warren Bazirgan and Kay McCartney have written about it, communicating it to us through newspapers, press releases and campus newsletters. Through Kay ' s efforts in writing and producing the Curry Comment and Warren ' s production of the Update magazine, the Curry Community — faculty, administrators, students, and alumni — is kept abreast of what is happening at Curry. And through their press releases and news articles, they teach the surrounding towns about Curry, increasing its reputation with each story. The service Kay and Warren have provided is invaluable. It is with great pride and thanks that the Curry College Yearbook staff and the Class of 1988 dedicate this yearbook, The Rainbow ' s End to the public relations team of Kay McCartney and Warren Bazirgan.
